ACQUIN European Activities

ACQUIN contributes to the enhancement of the Higher Education Area by providing in depth expertise in current quality assurance topics and efficient management of EU funds.

ACQUIN INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Taking into account various quality cultures within the European Higher Education Area, ACQUIN actively participates in different co-funded projects together with its international and European partners in a variety of topics, including among others: 

• International & European accreditation and certification procedures in Higher Education and Vocational Educational Training (VET)
• Quality Assurance  & Monitoring of projects’ management and deliverables
• External Evaluation of projects

CURRENT EU-PROJECTS

 

ELDICARE 2.0 2023-2027

Funded under the “Knowledge Alliances – Blueprint Projects”, Eldicare 2.0 project objectives are to raise the quality and attractiveness of training in the health care sector at European, national, regional and local level, as well as to provide new teaching and learning approaches, by creating competence-based courses, work-based learning procedures, employers’ handbook, with the use of micro credentials and the MOOC platform. ACQUIN is involved in the quality assurance of the courses and their international certification based on the ESG standards. INSPIRE 2024-2027

Funded under the “Partnerships for Innovation – Alliances”, INSPIRE project aims at upscaling the Performing Arts Sector in terms of green, digital, entrepreneurial, and soft skills with the view to upskill VET and HE professionals in a holistic and innovative way, so as the sector to act as a driver of sustainable development in Europe and beyond. ACQUIN is involved in the quality assurance of the new training courses that will be developed under this project and their international certification based on the ESG standards. CHAISE 2020-2024

Funded under Sector Skills Alliances, CHAISE “A Blueprint for Sectoral Cooperation on Blockchain Skill Development” project aims to set forward an open, inclusive blockchain skills governance system, to address skills mismatches and deliver appropriate training, intelligence gathering & mobility solutions tailored to sectoral needs. KAZDUAL 2021-2024

Since 2015 Kazakhstan has been developing a Road map for the development of dual education mainly driven by the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs. Funded under Capacity Building, KAZDUAL “Implementing dual system in Kazakhstan“ project aims to strengthen the role of enterprises and regional chambers of entrepreneurs in the organization of dual training. MENTORME 2020-2023

Funded under KA2 Strategic Partnerships, the project MentorME is designed to support the testing of innovative practices for enhancing HEIs civic engagement. Based on the renewed EU agenda for HE in 2017, which highlights the need of ‘’HE to be inclusive and not just institutions with ivory towers”, the project MentorME aims to strengthen HEIs interaction with ‘society’ through the development of an online tool for establishing mentoring relationships. VETENTRE 2020-2022

Funded under KA2 Strategic Partnerships, the project VETEntre, targets two key challenges: (1) The need to improve the attractiveness and quality of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Europe and the competences of VET educators to engage their students in meaningful learning. RegAgri4Europe 2020-2022

Funded under KA2 Strategic Partnerships, the project RegAgri4Europe aims to design an innovative vocational curriculum on Regenerative Agriculture, which will provide learners skills and knowledge to implement sustainable cultivation methods, therewith giving impetus to transform agricultural practices and landscapes. DEQAR CONNECT (2020-2022)

The project was selected for EU co-funding under the Erasmus PLUS call to support the implementation of European Higher Education Area (EHEA) reforms. GDPR4H (2018-2020)

GDPR4H Project “Upgrading the Health Sector with high-skilled Data Protection Officers (DPOs) under GDPR” was successfully granted by the German Agency BiBB under Erasmus+. The project is a pioneer in the field and will set the basis for a European approach in the sensitive field of health and patient data monitoring. For more information on the GDPR4H project: https://gdpr4h-project.eu

 

ELDICARE (2018-2020)

EldiCare Project “Matching skills in a growing European Silver Economy” was successfully granted by EACEA under Sector Skills Alliances (SSA) to offer a pathway out of the atypical/undeclared elderly care givers, through education and training in ICT & health applications. DataPRO (2018-2020)

DataPRO Project was successfully granted by EACEA’s KA3 Policy Reform “Joint Qualifications in Vocational Education and Training” and its aim is to incorporate the new digital mentality under GDPR 2016/679 to companies, employees and young learners, while responding to the fragmented certification system in the field.
