CERTIFICATION

The aim of the certification procedure is to evaluate and certify the quality of a programme. The certification decision in the ACQUIN procedure is based on transparent criteria, which are in compliance with the “Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area” (ESG). Standards are crucial for transparency and with regard to legal requirements that are necessary for crediting within the framework of study programmes. Further, the certification procedure shall make references to the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) or the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
